This movie is incredible and just so utterly heartbreaking.

I remember watching it for the first time when I was quite young - at most twelve - and crying for nearly an hour afterwards. I was so upset I couldn’t go to my karate lesson (shuddup) because this movie just hit me, so damn hard.

I haven’t watched it since.

1x 600ml carton chocolate milk
1x 473ml can Red Bull
1x loaf of bread (to make my overall purchases seem less awful)

I spent the entire time dreading the possibility of a member of staff asking “is there anything I could help you with this evening?”

Had that happened (it didn’t) there would be a 60% chance of me mumbling “I’m fine thanks” and scurrying away and a 40% chance of me suddenly bursting into tears.

Thank christ we have automated self-checkout, right?
