This is going to sound extremely weird and possibly a bit creepy but… hey, it’s tumblr.

No, it’s not that I like the Lizzie Maguire Show (though come on now, who doesn’t?)

I really feel … like I missed out on something but not having a buying-my-first-bra thing. I dunno. This is one of a number of feminine life-moment-rituals (ritual is too strong a word; events?) that I feel like I missed out on because I’m male. It’s not that I want to wear a bra or buy a bra. It’s not that I want to be a woman. It’s just that… I want the experience of a woman buying a bra. Or really the experience of a girl growing up.

I’m not sure why this is. Perhaps because my own “growing up” lacked any of the threshold moments that are so commonly portrayed in the literature. Perhaps it’s my continuous jealousy/curiosity/preference for the company of girls. I’m not really sure.

Not entirely sure whether I want to post this. I think I might queue it and then it’ll come out at like 3am and nobody will see it.
